Meet Pula, a city with over 3000 years of past!

Located in the very-south of Istrain peninsula, it has a very mild climate, crystal blue sea, and lush Mediterranean vegetation. Pula, as the biggest town of southern Istria, is surely interesting for its past. By strolling around Pula streets, you will meet all the past manifests standing still – the Amphitheatre, the Temple of Augustus, the ancient Roman Square – Forum, and many more. Pula was also a main port of Austrian-Hungarian Navy. The monuments from that stage are also very interesting, and the Casino Marine located in the very centre is one of the most important one. Surely, our advice is the gourmet offer of southern Istria! Tasting can start from the wellknow olive-oils in Vodnjan and Fazana; then great taste of Istrian smoked ham; and, of course, excellent first class fish from Adriatic Sea.

National Park Brijuni is not to be missed. A pearl of 16 islands.It was the residence of the former Yugoslavian president Tito. It is an archipelago with fantastic vegetation and animals.

Cape Kamenjak – is the southern point of Istria.  It inspires with untouched nature, fresh winds and unbelievable blue sea-water. Southern Istria is a destination for many sports activities –  such as scuba diving, cycling; horse-back riding, and easy walks within intact nature…
